Kuta Beach is one of the icons of Bali tourism; every tourist who visits Bali must visit Kuta Beach. Kuta beach has quite a strong current, which is good for surfing training. Some surf school train their student in Kuta Beach. Kuta beach is a white sandy beach and well-maintained. The beach during a certain month, especially during the rainy season, receives some rubbish from other areas, but don't worry, as the government of Badung Regency is always ready and responsible for the cleanliness of the beach.
Kuta beach recommended for Wedding
Kuta Beach is quite a long coast, starting from Patra Beach up to the Hard Rock hotel area. The beach looks so busy, but it still leaves some space, which is good for a wedding venue. Most of the beach wedding are located in front of a resort. From our experience, we recommend some beachfront venues for your wedding: The Patra Beach Resort, Majoly, Ramada Bintang Bali, Discovery Kartika Plaza, and Bali Garden. Northern Kuta beach is too busy for a wedding venue.
Access Kuta Beach
The beach can be reached via the Tuban area, where Bali International Airport is located, or can be reached from the Legian Area. The road north of Kuta is one direction from south to north. South Kuta has two-way direction only at Sun Island Kuta, Bali Dynasty, Discovery Kartika Plaza, Bali Garden Hotel, and Kuta Paradiso.
Transportation to Kuta
The only public transportation to Kuta is with Blue bemo, the number of blue bemo is very rare. It will be quicker if you take a taxi, motorbike, ojek, or other tourist transportation.
